WOW! Things are different here and I don't even know where to start.
The best way for me to do this is to start with my rendition of my friend, Amy's -
This Week in the Spirit Dancer.
Reading: I've been mostly writing this week. Many of you have noted that I sometimes pull out a notebook and start scribbling in the middle of a conversation, TV show, commercial or pretty much anywhere else I happen to be when a thought strikes me... I'm still listening, but what I'm soaking in, be it a conversation or something on TV has
inspired a thought that I feel is important enough if needs to be captured so I can develop it later :)

Listening to: Everything on my hard drive. I started a folder yesterday called 2013 and dragged every audio file I had in there... as it lands on things that won't suit the "2013 Soundtrack of the Ocho", I remove them from the list. This morning I ran across some greats introduced to me by my friend Ellis that I'd been in search of for quite some time.
Watching: I'm pretty much only Viggling (I'm about to get my first $25 gift card for Best Buy so I can replace my vintage tube TV) and catching some news programs with a healthy dose of Seinfeld and Big Bang Theory these
days... Although I did sit down yesterday afternoon after coming in the door from a weekend where I spent very few hours in my bubble and immediately hit the couch with four or so episodes of Leave it to Beaver to clear my head...
Thinking about: It seems like I'm entering a "new era" and I was just starting to get settled in the one I was in. I see many new and positive things happening, but I have been thrown way clear of my comfort zone in the last month or so - it's causing me to do quite a bit of adjusting and 'mental shucking', which you'll of course be enjoying in my blogs.. :)
Learning: I'm currently working on a critical project to try and definitively determine if it is possible for me to be in an exclusive relationship without losing my 'single self'...
By my 'single self' I don't all mean that having a significant other would interfere with my promiscuity because I've never been one to be promiscuous, but I like to spend about 12 hours a day in my bubble working, I don't really get hungry very often and I lost my "Someone else could be hungry" timer yeeeears ago... and I can go from laughing and having a good time to feeling like I have a plastic Walmart sack tied around my head and chasing a perfectly fine and decent man out of my space in .24 seconds... Those are a few of about 4,323,643 little nuances that make it nearly impossible for me to have someone in my space.
Doing: Preparing for this year... making a master catch up, call, contact and to do list... cleaning, decluttering and feng shuiing my apartment... organizing... getting things ready to relaunch some of my stagnant blogs. In general, getting my ducks in a row, making sure they're all flat footed and don't give a quack quack... and taxiing toward the runway...
Pet Peeves: "Loud neighbors. I never want to have neighbors again. Seriously!" I left Amy's response there... my neighbor's Jerry Springer girlfriend... a blog for a whooole 'nuther day! :) Other Pet Peeves include closed minded people, people who talk to children as if they expect them to be children for the rest of their lives and a clicker that shatters when being banged on the wall at the neighbor...
Happy Thoughts: I can see the fire trucks on the horizon...

I started a new personal assistant gig this week. An absolutely spot on perfect gal for me to be assisting... a chain smoker who listens to classic rock and has seen Journey 11 times! :) This fantastic chick operates from a wheel chair and I'll be working with her on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The other morning after arriving and getting her daytime area ready - I went in to her room, "Good morning, Peaches ... how'd you sleep?" She had slept well and advised me that today I would be assisting with her bathing routine for the first time and asked if I'd had experience with that...
"Well now I've dryed a kid a time or two after a bath, so I assume it'll be a bit like that... Also once an Asian pimp, but I'll save that story for a car trip one day..." - Kim Comer Jackson

Looking forward to: Working out the kinks in my 2013 schedule and finding out what's behind the firetrucks...
