Part 2
Updates in the World of Ocho -
"Kim Jackson! How Did This Happen?!?!"
Many months ago I began working alongside a very charming and entertaining fellow on some marketing projects, as we continued to spend time together I found that I was happier when I left his company than I had been prior ... I found that when I was with him, I laughed more than I did at any other portion of the day ... I found that when I was rattled
We became close friends, texting almost daily and getting together a couple of times a week to Viggle... Our visits became more frequent and as I rambled along in my whirlwind I found that on the days I didn't see him or talk to him, I missed him immensely.
One day in the Fall I was having tremendous electronics problems at the Ocho. As we texted, he suggested that I bring my laptop and everything I needed to his house, couple it with all of the electronics and such that he had available and see if I could get my issues jived out.
I worked quietly away at the desk in his living room for no time at all before I had everything in order and under control. He offered to let me smoke in his house because it had been a stressful night for me and it was absolutely frigid outside.. As I finished up my ciggy, he offered to make us grilled cheese sandwiches and for the next couple of hours we sat on the couch watching TV, viggling and chatting about everything from commercials and branding to moonshine and stoplights...
At approximately 9:15 p.m., I looked at the clock and realized that it had gotten extremely late (for me to be "away from the sanctity of the Ocho") and the entire night had flown by in a most scrumptiously delicious combination of tv, intellectual conversation, grilled cheese and Viggle...
This was when I hit complete panic mode... By 9:16 I was on my feet, emptying my ashtray and gathering my accouterments... QUICKLY! Now I refer to it as *gathering my stuff up like I had andirons to clean...* ((*more on that later... )) I thanked him for the help and the dyn-o-mite grilled Gouda cheese sandwich and I scurried home to the Ocho to *curl up in a ball*...
About 36 hours later, I *uncurled myself* and dropped by with some marketing materials as well as an iced mocha as a token of *I didn't know if I was supposed to contact you or not, I spent yesterday completely freaked out and I've missed you terribly, but if you just want to continue being friends - I'm totally okay with that too...*
We had an awkward few moments and he asked me if I'd like to stop by to Viggle later on...
I said I would love to and the rest is history...
