Are you familiar with those days that you just wake up knowing that all Hell is going to break loose and not yet knowing quite how it's going to happen? I think we all are...
I took off yesterday to run some errands and finish a cleaning and remixing job... My errands
When I entered the house I found the resident and a couple of his friends visiting after their morning at work. I was excited to find this fellow here with his buddies ... silly me ... for a shining moment I thought these cats were there helping him get his list of stuff done before I got there... theeeeeen I asked him if he had completed the list of things I needed him to do.
"Weeeeeeeell", he said... and off he went telling me why he hadn't gotten "this part" done and why it seemed unnecessary to do "that part" at all...
I finally just started laughing and put my hand on his shoulder to stop him...
"Sport ... you are dealing with the absolute leader of the procrastination movement and I can justify my way out of doing something a Hell of a lot faster than you can! I get where you're coming from, you don't want to do it ... I totally dig. But we're at the deadline... there is no more time to procrastinate until tomorrow..."
After a short meeting and walk-through of what needed to be done, I visited with the fellows for a few minutes and told them that I would leave them with their tasks and come back today. I gave him a warning ... "God help me Jesus, toots ... if I get here and it's not done tomorrow I have no choice but to call your mom and tell her we're at a standstill... and believe you me, Bud ... I don't wanna make that call anymore than you want me to.."
So please send good vibes on this ... I sent a text to him about an hour ago asking if I should bring extra meds and his mom's phone number and I've not heard back.

I'm still feeling terribly bent out of shape about the possibility of taking part in the community Yard Sale on Saturday ... I know I need to, but I have a lot of things that are hitting "red alert" this week and I just don't know if I have time to do something that won't pay off until Saturday.

I used my "gifted" hours yesterday afternoon to finish a piece for
Haley's Home Improvement and *the Farmhouse* project
You can see it below-
And I'm hoping to get onsite at the Farmhouse to shoot more footage for him this week...
AND, low and behold .. after mentioning yesterday that I really need to find a part-time job in Metropolis, I received a text last night calling to my attention to a position I would thoroughly enjoy - so I'm going to send a resume off for that today and do a little digging to see if I know anyone on the inside...
Now then ... I'm running out of time because one of the neighborhood dahlings just knocked on my door to show me (um, and Shazbot) her new rat and ask me if I had any sort of house for it. It's currently living in a cardboard box that's almost too big for her to carry. I'll stick that in the back of my brain for later and try to make a stop by storage...
And when I mentioned that rat's home ... I think he's been named Big Daddy ... the rat not the home ... anywho, did your noggin go to the same place mine did?
Have a Grand and Groovy Day!!!
