I was about 25 when I realized in Jamaica the absolute
deliciousness of a fresh cup of java with "real" sugar and milk...
For the first few days it was really difficult to drink the coffee, it was STRONG ...
I mean, it really came from just like over there on that mountain, just the other day. It was ground fresh and hadn't sat on a store shelf deflating and losing it's flavor...
After I adapted, it was beyond remarkable... I guess that's how some of you dolts feel about beer ;^)
Anywho, upon my return home - I found that most coffee in restaurants and such tasted a bit like dishwater with about a tablespoon of coffee thrown in... disastrous...
I've recently learned from Evan that just one more little thing to do to find the perfect flavor for your java is to PUT SALT IN IT!
