I'm So Far Behind I Think I Must Be First ... A Saturday Morning Update...



Admittedly I take on more than I should, agree to more than I should, commit to more than I should and plan more projects than I should ... but I'm in a zone right now in which I just feel bombarded and overwhelmed... 

 Therefore, I'm just going to have a little "mind dump" here with you kids this morning... 

 If I'm not mistaken I haven't written in this blog since early April just after getting moved

into the House at Pooh Corner with Evan.  Things are great here except for that a very vocal canine has moved in directly on the other side of our back yard.  


 This has happened just in the last couple of days... but I think I'll be calling our local dog fella Quinton this week to have him do a welfare check on the dog.  It seems to be outside chained up a lot and that pisses me off - so I want him to go give him a look see and make sure he's being properly cared for... poor little poochie on a chain all day and all night - the  barking only seems to stop during the evening hours... 

 I've been trying to set a date for a yard sale.  I didn't want to do it Superman weekend because I wanted to be free to shoot and tinker about town... (( You can see Superman photos as well as all of my other photography at www.KCoJax.blogspot.com and merchandise is available at www.CafePress.com/FlawnOcho ))  I thought about the 22nd, but then I realized that my great-nephews 2nd birthday party is that morning - and I don't want to miss that ... and I THINK that the Supercity Blues and Ques is the 29th - so I thought about THAT weekend, but Evan is contemplating entering in one category ((he is a barbecuer extraordinaire!!) and I had thought about having a booth for my local photography, art and such... so I don't know what I'll end up doing... Suffice it to say that we will probably have multiple yard sales this summer because we've GOT to streamline from the moving in process...



On my list for this weekend, hang out and explore outdoors with Evan, check out some Superman stuff and photog that, See Silas in the Little Superman pageant at 6 if he's in it, See Keegan's tree house so we can start developing a design to make it the coolest tree house in town, check in with my brother on his flood mess, get domestic around here for a bit, clean my car out, post Superman stuff on KCoJax.blogspot and KCoJax Candids Facebook, work on Bird's Eye View of the Katydid, work in the yard, finish editing and deliver this wedding before I have to buy my bride and groom an anniversary gift, shoot the parade of costumes on Sunday and work the booth at Superman with Evan aaaand make a manicotti...

 I don't know if I'll get all of that done or not, but I'm sure gonna try and at least now I have the starting of a list :)  I'll be back shortly with a piece that's almost done - revealing a very exciting event I had last night... but I've gotta do some domestics around here first... always wear an apron!! It makes it more fun!!
