Stress is and will continue to increase in leaps and bounds as long as the following factors remain in place...
As a result of technology, we receive information, instructions and other things that require our attention at an abso-smurfin'-lutely phenomenally disgusting rate of speed while it STILL takes the same amount of time to do a load of laundry, or go to the grocery, or watch our favorite TV show or take a shower...
We have increased our information load, but we are not yet in robotic bodies that allow us to zip and flitter about town for a day of errands, to dos and whatnot at the same rate of speed at which we're receiving the instructions and information of what we're supposed to be doing ...
This causes us to become stressed and feel that there just "aren't enough hours in the day" ... and we are not only correct, but totally to blame.
What can we do to rectify this situation?
We can however do some things to relieve our stress... For me, listening to music tops the list... Also walking around in the yard and observing all of the little blooms beginning to peak out can calm me right down... When all else fails, take a nap!
It is critical for you to spend some time reducing your stress level every day. Maybe in the beginning you're only able to take 5 minutes, but as your mind clears and your haze lifts - you will find more and more time for you... and if you don't make time to keep your own batteries recharged you SURE can't help anyone else recharge theirs...
