A Quick Morning Note - 01/17/2014


So I ran over to find a quick "On This Day" to kick things off and found this... 
1949 - "The Goldbergs" debuted on CBS-TV. The program had been on radio since 1931. The TV version lasted for four years. 
Well of course it caught my eye because currently one of my absolute favorite shows is, The Goldbergs (wrote about it here in DVR Round Up)... So anywho, I didn't know there had been a radio show,
did any of you?  Tweet me @KCoJax - right here ->  if you know have anything on it - I'll investigate it sometime and bring it to us here.. 

 So this is a new format I'm trying out and I only have about two minutes left ... I'm going to be very diligent about the 8:35am-9am time block on weekday mornings.  During that time I will have my java and peruse the Facebook and share anything of interest and then I'll run over here to the blog and toss out a short post.

 I've SERIOUSLY been working on my scheduling work habits, my smoking habits (new news coming on this asap) and all sorts of other things that have been blocking up my noggin and my chi in absolutely dreadful ways... and things are starting to run more smoothly around Pooh Corner... 

 Last night I was able to see one of my dearest friends in the Universe, though under sad circumstances - her father passed away... But I was able to see her and

when we greeted I felt my spirit being totally renewed...  the scent of incense, patchouli and sandalwood... :) I returned home - though I hated to miss a gathering for drinks, I was longing too much for my pajamas... and Evan and I watched TV before dozing off only to wake in the middle of the night to actually go to bed... 

 I'm a bit behind but this is the first day on the new schedule and I'll be able to better adjust in the future ... really going to try and stick with  this :)
